J.S. Woodwind is an independent, musical instrument repair shop and lesson studio located in Northern Berks County. The repair studio specializes in woodwind instrument repairs for piccolos, flutes, saxophones, clarinets, oboes and bassoons; ranging from minor adjustments to mechanical overhauls. The lesson studio offers private lessons for woodwind students, from student level to advanced.

J.S. Woodwind Lesson and Repair Studio was started by Jennifer Strunk Francisco, a recognized private lesson studio teacher who resides in Northern Berks County. Jennifer’s background includes a B.S. degree in Music Education from Moravian College, 20 years of professional one-on-one instruction for clarinet, flute, saxophone and piano, ten years of experience as a choir director, teaching K-5 general music education and filling numerous long term substitute positions for Berks County School Districts all of which ensures that J.S. Woodwind students receive the highest quality, professional music instruction.

J.S. Woodwind is proud to have worked with many students over the years who have gone on to achieve County, District, Regional, and State status with Band/Orchestra and Chorus. There is great pride in knowing that many students are now up and coming music educators.

Jennifer also brings more than 15 years of training and work experience repairing woodwind instruments to J.S. Woodwind. She is a NAPBIRT (National Association of Professional Band and Instrument Repair Technicians) member in good standing. You can trust that any instrument repair or maintenance completed by J.S. Woodwind will be handled with the utmost care in a timely and professional manner.
